Robotic surgery. Human judgment.

Robotic-assisted surgery provides better information — not better decisions.

ROSA robotic knee planning

ROSA robotic knee planning helps Dr. Seem understand how your knee moves and balances during surgery. Using preoperative X-rays and information gathered in the operating room, he can evaluate your anatomy, ligament balance, implant position, and alignment before finalizing the bone cuts.

This allows the plan to be adjusted to your individual knee rather than forcing every patient toward the same standard target. ROSA does not perform the operation or decide how your knee should be aligned — Dr. Seem remains in control, using the system as an extension of his experience and judgment to support a more precise, personalized procedure.

Precision you can feel in recovery

Dr. Seem's philosophy emphasizes functional alignment and minimizing unnecessary ligament releases whenever possible. Personalized planning helps create a knee that moves naturally while respecting each patient's individual anatomy.

Who benefits most

Robotic planning benefits nearly every patient undergoing knee replacement — particularly those with complex deformity, previous surgery, or anatomy requiring individualized planning. Every operation remains completely surgeon-directed.
